The TCGI Australian Absolute Return Fund seeks to generate short to medium term capital returns through superior stock selection.
Benchmark In keeping with global fee structures for Absolute Return Funds, no benchmark return is applicable or available. Rather, incentive fees are calculated on a total investment return above a cumulative zero.

Authorised Investments Australian Equities

Ordinary shares, preference shares and other securities of any equity nature, provided the share or securities are listed on the official list of the Australian Stock Exchange Limited (ASX Listed).
Investment Restrictions

Number of Companies

The portfolio’s exposure to any companies must be no less than 15 companies and no more than 35 companies at any one time. For the purpose of this rule all holdings in ordinary shares, convertible notes, preference shares and options of a listed vehicle will be considered a single company or unit trust.

Maximum holdings of the issued capital of a company

The portfolio’s total investment:

  1. in any shares or other equity securities issues by one company, or
  2. in any units or other equity securities (including options, if any, valued as if the options were exercised) issued by one unit trust

shall not exceed 20% of the issued capital of that company.

Maximum holdings as a percentage of the Portfolio

The total market value of the equity investments held in any one company shall not exceed 25% of the portfolio.

 

Derivative Restrictions Derivatives may be used to hedge risk in the portfolio

Ordinary shares, preference shares and other securities of any equity nature, provided the share or securities are listed on the official list of the respective stock exchanges limited to those countries within the investment universe.

The TCGI Emerging Markets Fund of Funds seeks to generate short to medium term capital returns through superior stock selection within Emerging Markets Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
Benchmark In keeping with global fees structures for Absolute Return Funds no benchmark return is applicable or available. Rather, incentive fees are calculated on a total investment return above a cumulative zero.

The portfolio’s exposure to any exchange traded fund will be no less than 5 and no more than 15 Exchange Traded Funds at any one time.

Maximum holdings of the Exchange Traded Fund

The portfolio’s total investment in any exchange traded fund shall not exceed 20% of the net asset value of that company.

Maximum holdings as a percentage of the Portfolio

The total market value of the exchange traded fund shall not exceed 25% of the portfolio.
